Lucy’s Lemonade Stand was created by Lucy and her family to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research. Join us in carrying her legacy forward.
"We're doing Lucy's Lemonade Stand because we want to help kids in need... of more money because they have cancer and we want them to be healthy and be cancer free." - Lucy D.
Meet Lucy: The Heart Behind the Stand
Lucy was diagnosed with high-risk Neuroblastoma in April of 2020 when she was 4 years old. At diagnosis, she had the primary tumor, disease in her bones, and in her bone marrow. Lucy completed her treatment in January 2022 and relapsed one month later, the disease had metastasized in her brain. Lucy endured many different forms of treatment, but her disease was relentless. Lucy gained her angel wings September 2023. If Lucy could have had any superpowers she wanted to have the power to help people. Our family started Lucy’s Lemonade Stands to help raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research.
Lucy was never defined by her cancer diagnosis. She was a vibrant, joyful, and loving little girl whose spirit shone brightly in everything she did. Whether she was playing games, swimming, singing, dancing, drawing, or heading off to school, Lucy embraced life with enthusiasm and laughter. She cherished her visits to Disney World and delighted in simple moments, like feeling the wind blow through her hair.
Above all, Lucy adored her little sister, Charlotte, who was her favorite person in the world. She had a remarkable gift for connecting with others—her warmth and charm made everyone she met instantly fall in love with her.
Taking A Stand Together
Lucy’s Lemonade Stand was born from the courage and compassion of one little girl, Lucy, who battled high-risk Neuroblastoma with unwavering strength. Inspired by her dream to help others, Lucy’s family launched the stand to raise awareness and critical funds for childhood cancer research.
Today, Lucy’s legacy lives on as Lucy’s Lemonade Stand proudly joins forces with Fourth & Gold — a nonprofit founded by oncology nurse Erin Tracy to fund life-saving pediatric cancer research. Together, we are doubling down on our shared mission: to find safer, more effective treatments so that children can not only survive, but truly thrive.
By uniting our efforts, we honor Lucy’s wish to help others and build a stronger community dedicated to changing the future of childhood cancer. Every dollar raised, every story shared, and every breakthrough funded is a step closer to a world where no child has to face cancer with outdated, toxic treatments — and every family has hope.
Together, we are #LucyStrong. Together, we are Fourth & Gold.
"I want to live in a world where parents don’t have to shave their heads and kids don't have to host lemonade stands in order to get money for childhood cancer research."
